After talking with the seller about the pieces needed to
switch it over to a 620 horse version of the motor,
I decided to just leave it as is. The carb alone
on this monster would cover the cost of the conversion.
I have a carb here already that will do the job. |

To convert the motor over to the 620
horse version would be pretty simple. Cam,
lifters, valve springs. I would still have the
higher compression, but would not have the
maintenance of a full roller setup. I have had one
for the past 10 years. And for a couple hundred
more horsepower, the work is worth it. |

Auction day comes, and I am still the only bidder
on the motor. Patience is a funny thing.
It can make or break you....Most of the time break you.
I have patience though and can deal with it. |
